How do I report a lost card?

You may report your lost or stolen card to staff at the Circulation Desk in person, or call the Circulation Department. You will need to provide your library card number and/or other information verifying your identity. You may re-apply for a new library card in person.  Please Call (708) 331-0757, Extension: 3200

How do I renew library materials?

You may come to the Circulation Desk in person or call the Circulation Department staff to renew your items. For added convenience, visit our website and access your Library account (Library access) or Library account (Home access)  to renew your items. (708) 331-0757, Extension: 3200

Where may I use my Harvey Public Library Card?

Your valid card will be honored at the Harvey Public Library District, all public libraries in the Reaching Across Illinois Library System, all academic libraries in RAILS, and several other library systems in the State of Illinois.

When is it available to check out the visual materials including DVD/Blu-Ray and VHS?

Videos and DVDs may be checked out up to 20 minutes before closing time.
